Job description:

Our client is an engineering innovation company, with proven track record in the area of experimental, numerical and hybrid system modelling for noise, vibration, durability and dynamics, performing substantial in-house research on advanced methods and applications.


Our client is currently looking for a Software Engineer – Advanced to join its team in Liège, Belgium. You will be part of an international team with team members in Belgium, Romania, the U.S, and extended team members in India and China. You will join a dynamic AGILE team with challenging projects focusing on end-users (which can be other developers) where your technical interest will be fostered including lots of trainings for your personal and technical development.


· Participate in all team meetings and actively engage in the planning process and commit to the team’s goals of each sprint. It is expected that each team member readily supports on another to reach that goal. Good communication skills are vital in this position

· Participate in all aspects of the development process of our CAE software

· Requirements analysis

· Story/Functional spec writing

· Design, implementation and maintenance

· Creation of documentation to report to supervisors


· Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering

· Several years of C++ experience in an industrial software development environment

· Experience in Object Oriented programming

· Passion for software development

· Knowledge of FEM and CAD are strong plus points.

· Ability to work in teams and individually with flexible mind and challenge spirit.

· Practical analytical skills and good communication skills.

· Fluency in English is required (speaking, writing and reading).
